Wine Club Terms
Membership should feel like a standing dinner invitation, not a contract. These are the plain-language terms for the Hillside Club, the Vespers Club and the Cellar Society.

When your card is charged
Fourteen days before each shipment we email you the full lineup — the wines, the vintage card and the price. Your card on file is charged about 10 days before the shipment leaves the winery. That window is deliberate: it gives you time to skip, swap your address or switch to pickup before anything is billed.
Skipping or pausing
You may skip or pause one shipment per calendar year at no charge. Reply to the shipment preview email before the charge date, call (503) 362-4180, or just tell us at the tasting room. Skipped wines go back in the cellar — they do not stack onto your next shipment.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime by emailing tastings@vesperacellars.com — there is no minimum number of shipments and no cancellation fee. Cancellations requested after a shipment has been charged take effect with the following shipment.
Member discounts
Your tier discount applies to every estate wine you buy — in shipments, at the tasting room and by phone: Hillside Club 10%, Vespers Club 15%, Cellar Society 20%. Members also taste free on every visit, and Cellar Society members receive two complimentary Library Tastings ($65 value each) per year.
Changing tiers
Move between the Hillside Club, Vespers Club and Cellar Society whenever you like; changes requested before the 14-day preview email take effect with the next shipment. Moving up mid-cycle is always allowed. Library allocations follow the tier you held on the charge date.
Tasting-room pickup
Pickup members: we hold each shipment at the tasting room for 60 days from the charge date. After 60 days we will email you twice; wines still unclaimed after a third notice may be converted to a shipped order at the standard rate. An adult 21 or older must collect the wines and show ID.
Age requirement
Membership is open to adults 21 and older. By joining, you confirm you are at least 21, and an adult 21 or older must sign for every delivery. See Shipping & Returns for carrier details.
